Our pharmacy provides all medications to the inpatient hospital as well as to the Emergency Room and to our skilled nursing facility. The pharmacy reviews all medication orders for drug-to-drug and drug-to-food interactions, allergy contraindications, and appropriateness of therapy. We also provide antibiotic reviews. Any problems with drug therapy can be quickly evaluated and resolved due to the close communication between the medical staff and the pharmacy.
340b Discount Pharmacy Program
Use Our Clinic, Use Our Pharmacy, SAVE.
Our pharmacy has also worked hard to implement a 340B discount drug program that gives our family clinic patients significant savings on their prescription costs. 340B is a federal drug-pricing program that offers discounted purchasing to hospitals, which allows the hospitals to pass along discounts to their patients. Lackey Memorial Hospital is an active participant in the program and has partnered with several local pharmacies to ensure the discount is reaching the community.
