So, what can you expect when contacting us for a telehealth visit?
When you call 601-697-3805 during regular business hours, a receptionist will greet you and inquire about your current health issue. She will then set you up with one of our providers for a telemedicine visit. If you have a preference on which provider you wish to see, the receptionist will see if they are available and give you an available time. At the conclusion of the call, you will be asked for your permission to treat you by telemedicine and if you have any questions.
We will then send you a web link to connect with our clinic by either email or phone (text message) – you determine which is best for you. Once you receive this link, click on it. It will ask you to enter your name. After you enter your name, you will be placed in a virtual waiting room. When the provider is available to see you, he/she will join and you will be able to see him/her on your screen and they will be able to see you. If the teleprogram stops or we are unable to connect, we will assist you through another means. Once the visit concludes, you will have virtually met with your provider and safely received healthcare from home.
